Plastic art for the oceans!

‘’Turning plastic water bottles into art to make the public aware of plastic pollution in the ocean.''


Marathons, a great social healthy event lots of people participate in. Yet, often called an environmental disaster because of all the plastic water bottles that end up on the side of the road. To tackled this problem, artist created the above shown piece of art by using all the bottles runners threw away. This did not only solve the plastic waste problem but also raised awareness on the amount of plastic waste that ends up in the ocean. The art piece consists out of 70,000 plastic water bottles that otherwise would have ended up in the ocean! A perfect symbolic piece of art that shows the global problems we are facing today.
